To fight this environmental crisis, all around the world researchers such as Dave Hakkens and Kevin Kumala work on alternative materials such as the bioplastic. But what are bioplastics ?
Bioplastics are plastics derived from renewable biomass sources, such as vegetable fats and oils, corn starch, straw, food waste, etc.
I follow their steps by researching a broad range of recipes and testing their characteristics en potential application. The main aim of my project is to make a statement and share those innovations with the world, through social media platform. By targeting Instagram, it is going to reach children, teenagers and young adults. They are the future, and they need to be aware of the damaged already done and the possible solutions.
