Green facades are usually a long-term and, depending on the system, high-maintenance project. This is why, despite their benefits for air quality and urban microclimate, they are still not very widespread. GreenCurtain, on the other hand, is much less complicated to set up and maintain.
In fact, it is more of a modular plant curtain that leaves the building wall behind it completely intact and allows air to circulate unhindered between them. However, it can also be hung in entirely different places and completely freely. The plants are installed within of a tensile steel cable system, and the water and nutrients are supplied by an integrated pump system. There are hardly any limits to the design, which can be changed over and over again, from stuffy indoor plant idylls turned inside out to wildly sprawling dense little primeval forests.
